Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a full-time contract basis. In this role, you'll partner with an elementary program serving kindergarten through 5th grade and make a tangible impact on a caseload of approximately 45 students. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 4, 2026, offering an extended window to develop strong collaborative relationships and provide continuity of care.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and valid SLP license in the state.
- Prior experience with K-5th grade students strongly preferred.
- Capability to manage and prioritize a moderate caseload (about 45 students).
- Knowledge of individualized education plan (IEP) processes.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, educators, and families.
- Commitment to supporting student growth and fostering inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and direct treatment for students with speech and language needs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to support student progress and classroom integration.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and provide reports on student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing parent communications.
- Foster a welcoming, positive, and motivating environment for all students.
