Elementary K-5 School Speech Language Pathologist - Leland, North Carolina

Make a meaningful impact supporting elementary students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school community. This full-time position starts as soon as possible and continues through June 4, 2026, offering the chance to work with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. You’ll manage a moderate caseload of 45 students, collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other support staff to foster growth in communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state Speech-Language Pathology license
• Previous experience providing therapy services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Comfortable working with students in grades K-5
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage a caseload
• Collaborative mindset for working with educators and families
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-5 students
• Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students on your caseload
• Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
• Consult regularly with teachers and parents to support students’ academic and social success
• Adapt therapy methods to address each student's unique needs and learning styles
• Stay current on best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
