Qualifications:
- Hold a valid state Speech-Language Pathology license
- Previous experience providing therapy services in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Comfortable working with students in grades K-5
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to independently manage a caseload
- Collaborative mindset for working with educators and families
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-5 students
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students on your caseload
- Monitor progress, maintain documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult regularly with teachers and parents to support students’ academic and social success
- Adapt therapy methods to address each student's unique needs and learning styles
- Stay current on best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
