Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (KS SLP license required)
  • CCC-SLP certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Previous experience providing speech/language therapy in a school setting is highly preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with students, staff, and parents

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy to students individually and in small groups
  • Document progress and maintain accurate session and compliance records
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student growth
  • Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Stay current with best practices and legal requirements in school-based speech therapy
