School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lenexa, Kansas

This full-time contract position is designed for passionate professionals ready to provide speech and language support in a collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure in KS)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligible
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred, but dedicated new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt to a diverse student population and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students, including initial evaluations and re-evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting students’ unique needs
• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and comply with all regulatory guidelines
• Provide resources, recommendations, and guidance to teachers and families regarding students’ speech/language needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and interdisciplinary collaborations as needed
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices
