Ideal background and qualifications for this role include:

  • Current Tennessee SLP license in good standing
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience with pediatric populations, preferably within school or healthcare environments
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with staff, families, and students
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and documentation in a timely manner

Key responsibilities you can expect:

  • Deliver individual and group speech-language therapy services to students onsite
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
  • Employ data-driven practice for therapy and progress monitoring
  • Support multi-disciplinary teams with input and recommendations for student success
  • Educate and collaborate with teachers and caregivers to promote carryover of skills throughout the school day
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services provided
