This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated, compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide exceptional services to a school-age caseload. Your expertise will support students’ academic and social growth in a collaborative educational environment.
This full-time role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 17th, 2027. As an integral part of a supportive team, you’ll have the chance to develop creative therapy approaches and help students achieve their highest potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current and valid Maryland SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to a diverse school-age caseload
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and maintain thorough documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student success
- Offer consultation and education to school staff and families regarding communication disorders and strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
