Skills and Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license and certification for school-based practice
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
• Previous school experience preferred, especially with K-8 students
• Comfortable using AAC devices and supporting non-verbal students
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt materials and strategies to a variety of abilities and learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders within a school setting
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with educators and parents
• Deliver direct and indirect speech therapy services to students, including those with complex communication needs
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and AAC resources to foster student progress
• Maintain thorough records in accordance with district and state requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team planning to ensure optimal student outcomes
