Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current or eligible SLP licensure in Idaho
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
  • Experience or strong interest in providing speech therapy within school settings
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress tracked
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
  • Provide consultation and support to staff and families for strategies that foster positive communication outcomes
