This contract-based speech-language pathology opportunity is ideal for motivated SLPs (including CCCs and CFY candidates) who are passionate about fostering student success and enjoy collaborating with dedicated educational teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current or eligible SLP licensure in Idaho
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in providing speech therapy within school settings
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for effective communication with students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student achievement
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress tracked
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goal-setting
- Provide consultation and support to staff and families for strategies that foster positive communication outcomes
