10th Grade 7th Grade School Speech Language Pathologist - Lewiston, Idaho

Step into a rewarding in-person role supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year! A retiring Speech-Language Pathologist leaves behind a dedicated school community with a strong need for ongoing speech therapy services. Six contract SLPs are needed to serve a range of students across K-12 settings—elementary, middle, or high school. Placement will be based on both need and your experience.

You’ll work on-site alongside experienced educators and have opportunities to make a true impact in students’ daily lives. SLPs will have varying caseloads, with efforts made to maintain each caseload between 50-60 students.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program
• Current SLP licensure (or eligible) in Idaho
• Previous school-based experience or clinical fellowship welcome
• Comfortable serving students in grades K-12, including elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams
• Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, in-person therapy to assigned student caseload
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with district and state requirements
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to foster student growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and staff development

Work Schedules:

• Elementary: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Middle: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
• High: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
