School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Lewiston, Maine

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students from kindergarten through 6th grade. With a manageable caseload of just 8-10 students, you’ll have the time and resources to provide individualized speech and language support for learners at critical stages of their development.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences Disorders
• Active state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Open to candidates with SLP - CCC or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience working with school-aged children, especially within kindergarten to 6th grade, is highly preferred
• Strong collaborative and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide assessments to determine student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct therapy services to a small group of students, adjusting methods to meet a range of speech and language challenges
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to optimize student progress
• Maintain appropriate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with all district and regulatory practices
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student goals
