Key Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with school-aged children, preferably middle school students
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs based on student needs
  • Adept at managing a full caseload and maintaining accurate documentation

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to middle school students
  • Assess and identify communication disorders; interpret evaluation results for educational teams
  • Develop and update individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families
  • Participate in team meetings, providing insight into students’ progress and adapting strategies as needed
  • Maintain thorough records and document all services provided in compliance with school and legal requirements
