Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license (ME or eligible for reciprocity)
  • Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience in a school setting highly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective, individualized IEP-based therapy plans

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Develop and implement IEPs and monitor student progress
  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language services
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Offer support and guidance to staff and families on speech and language issues
