You’ll work on-site throughout the academic year, with placements primarily in the east and southern areas of the district. Flexible caseload assignment allows you to share your preferences, and the district is committed to matching your interests wherever possible. Supervision is available for Clinical Fellows, ensuring support throughout your growth as a professional.
Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CF) applicants welcome
- Experience working with students on the autism spectrum and those with low cognitive disabilities is highly desirable
- Commitment to supporting PreK-12 students in a school environment
- Must be available for full school year (August 12, 2026 through June 11, 2027)
- Caseload up to 35 students maximum
- Candidates who can adapt to varying needs and communicate effectively with parents and staff will thrive

- Provide speech-language services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote student success
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Keep accurate documentation and participate in meetings as requested
