Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active state licensure as an SLP, or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience delivering SLP services in school settings preferred
  • Skilled in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and students
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students, ensuring both individual and group sessions as needed
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
  • Document student progress, maintain records, and meet all compliance guidelines
  • Utilize effective therapy techniques, materials, and technology to foster student progress
  • Offer training and support to school personnel and families related to speech and language needs
