A contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available at either Thomasville Primary or Liberty Drive Elementary and Thomasville Middle School, serving a caseload of 35–40 students from PreK through grade 12. What you need to succeed:
- Current North Carolina NCDPI SLP License (must be confirmed)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- SLP-CCC certification (no SLP CFs or SLPAs considered)
- Experience with ECATS required
- Proficiency with Infinite Campus preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability and commitment to work on-site; remote is not an option
What you’ll do:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy aligned with individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and document results in comprehensive reports
- Develop and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing student data and progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate regularly with families
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records within ECATS and Infinite Campus
- Manage and support your caseload across assigned grade levels and school sites
- Provide consultative and classroom-based support
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all state and federal special education guidelines
