A contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity is available at either Thomasville Primary or Liberty Drive Elementary and Thomasville Middle School, serving a caseload of 35–40 students from PreK through grade 12. What you need to succeed:

  • Current North Carolina NCDPI SLP License (must be confirmed)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • SLP-CCC certification (no SLP CFs or SLPAs considered)
  • Experience with ECATS required
  • Proficiency with Infinite Campus preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability and commitment to work on-site; remote is not an option

What you’ll do:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy aligned with individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Conduct thorough assessments, evaluations, and document results in comprehensive reports
  • Develop and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing student data and progress
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, participate in IEP meetings, and communicate regularly with families
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records within ECATS and Infinite Campus
  • Manage and support your caseload across assigned grade levels and school sites
  • Provide consultative and classroom-based support
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all state and federal special education guidelines

This full-time position runs from August 17, 2026 through June 4, 2027, providing the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students every day.
