Qualifications & Desired Background:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
  • Previous experience in schools, pediatric healthcare, or teletherapy settings preferred
  • Strong rapport-building, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt strategies to meet varying student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students (caseload of 45-50)
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student success
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and required documentation
  • Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
