Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and execution of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Strong knowledge of AAC devices and strategies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct therapy services for a diverse student population
- Facilitate adaptive communication strategies, including the use of AAC devices
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise to student planning
