Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to provide direct therapy (individual and group) and comprehensive evaluations
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Collaborative mindset for partnering with teachers, families, and other school professionals
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred by educational staff or families
- Deliver evidence-based therapy tailored to each student’s needs in 1:1 and group formats
- Regularly update IEPs, track student progress, and maintain compliance with all documentation requirements
- Engage in IEP meetings, collaborating with educators and families to support student goals
- Serve as a resource and advocate for communication strategies throughout the school environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and school initiatives
