Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold active SLP certification and state licensure
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred, especially with elementary, middle, or high school students
- Comfortable with individual and group sessions, including 1:1 therapy
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, families, and other professionals
- Thorough understanding of speech and language disorders common in school-aged children
- Able to adapt interventions to a wide range of student needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders among assigned students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each child’s unique needs
- Support students in achieving academic and personal goals through effective therapy strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and outcomes
- Consult with teachers and staff to create inclusive learning environments
