In this contract position, you’ll deliver critical services alongside a team that values professional expertise and collaboration. Compensation for this role ranges from $50-$55 per hour.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active South Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
  • South Carolina Teacher’s Certification
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required; SLP-CFY candidates will be considered
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
  • Dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with local, state, and federal policies
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff development sessions, and parent conferences
  • Stay current with evidence-based best practices and continuing education
