Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active or eligible SLP-CCC credential or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion
  • Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology
  • Comfort working with elementary-aged students
  • Skills in assessment, diagnosis, and developing IEPs for communication disorders
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse group of elementary students
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in setting appropriate goals
  • Maintain consistent progress notes and documentation in accordance with school and federal guidelines
  • Foster positive, supportive relationships with students, caregivers, and multidisciplinary school teams
