Step into an exciting position supporting students’ speech and language development in a welcoming school environment near Lexington, SC! This contract opportunity runs from August 4, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering stability and room to make a sustained impact. You’ll play a pivotal role providing services across two schools (elementary and middle), supporting caseloads typically around 45-50 students.

Whether you are a seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC), recent graduate (CFY), or possess experience in school or healthcare pediatric settings, your skills and compassion will help students thrive academically and socially.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible state licensure as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Experience with pediatric populations, ideally in educational or healthcare settings
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Ability to independently manage caseloads and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy services in both individual and small group settings
  • Complete all required documentation and progress reports in a timely manner
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Serve as a resource for educators and families regarding effective communication strategies
