Key Qualifications:
- Active ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP required)
- Current and valid South Carolina SLP Licensure
- Prior experience working in school settings, particularly at the elementary level, is highly valued
- Solid knowledge of IEP process, speech/language assessments, and intervention techniques
- Strong organization, documentation, and communication abilities
- Enthusiastic, student-centered mindset and adaptability in dynamic school environments
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students onsite
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring in accordance with state and district guidelines
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate seamlessly with teachers, parents, and supportive staff to design interventions that meet students’ unique needs
- Maintain detailed records and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
- Create engaging, evidence-based activities that promote student success and confidence
