Key Qualifications:

  • Active ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP required)
  • Current and valid South Carolina SLP Licensure
  • Prior experience working in school settings, particularly at the elementary level, is highly valued
  • Solid knowledge of IEP process, speech/language assessments, and intervention techniques
  • Strong organization, documentation, and communication abilities
  • Enthusiastic, student-centered mindset and adaptability in dynamic school environments

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students onsite
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring in accordance with state and district guidelines
  • Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate seamlessly with teachers, parents, and supportive staff to design interventions that meet students’ unique needs
  • Maintain detailed records and contribute to multidisciplinary meetings
  • Create engaging, evidence-based activities that promote student success and confidence
