Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students during the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist or Physical Therapist. Serve a close-knit group of 30 students, providing specialized services in a school-based setting near Lexington, VA. Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current, valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children or in an educational environment
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop and execute individualized treatment and intervention plans
  • Commitment to fostering student success and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate student abilities through standardized assessments and determine eligibility for services
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other related service providers for holistic student support
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and compliance with school and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to support the broader education and therapy team
