This full-time position runs from August 17, 2026, to September 4, 2026, with onsite hours from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm, Monday through Friday. Qualifications and Skills:
- Active SLP license required
- Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
- Familiarity with autism spectrum disorders and therapeutic interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students, families, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement customized communication strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment and direct therapy sessions for students in the school’s autism program
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support communication and academic goals
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and reporting requirements during the assignment period
- Adapt therapy approaches based on student response, making recommendations for specialized supports as needed
- Actively contribute to the multidisciplinary school team, sharing expertise and insights
