Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting an elementary autism program for a limited maternity leave coverage. This full-time, onsite position runs weekdays from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm, allowing you to make a direct impact on student progress while managing a focused caseload. Your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist will be vital in helping students reach their communication goals during this important transitional period.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and valid SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting, ideally supporting students on the autism spectrum
  • Familiarity with developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy methods to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language services to students within the autism program at the elementary level
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and support staff to create supportive, consistent interventions
  • Conduct assessments, maintain documentation, and monitor student progress
  • Participate in staff meetings and IEP teams as needed during your assignment
  • Assist with transition planning to ensure continuity of service during and after the leave period
