Make a meaningful impact as an in-person Speech-Language Pathologist serving middle school students during a maternity leave coverage. This contract opportunity spans from 08/17/2026 to 11/12/2026 and focuses on supporting students’ communication, language, and social skills during a crucial point in their academic journey.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Experience providing SLP services in a school environment, especially at the middle school level
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal setting
  • Ability to collaborate closely with teaching staff, families, and support personnel
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct in-person therapy sessions to middle school students in accordance with IEP goals and state/federal guidelines
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and adjust interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer consultative support and resources to teachers, families, and administrators to promote carryover of skills
  • Maintain detailed, confidential, and timely documentation of student progress and services
