Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current SLP license for Missouri
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Prior experience working with school-aged students is strongly preferred
- Adaptable and comfortable supporting a varied caseload in multiple buildings
- Confident with both individual and small group intervention strategies
Role Highlights:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to students at a high school and a middle school, with the possibility of supporting an additional location as needed
- Spend three days per week at the high school providing services for specialized classroom settings (ESC and BEST programs, approximately 11 students) and participate in overflow support at the middle school and other building(s) on remaining days
- Collaborate with educational teams to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess student needs and progress, documenting interventions and maintaining compliance with district and state standards
- Foster communication skills that empower students in both academic and social contexts
