Key Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting, particularly at the elementary level.
• Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and relevant documentation.
• Skill in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to an elementary caseload.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with limited verbal abilities, utilizing AAC devices as needed.
• Develop and implement individualized goals and therapeutic interventions within the educational setting.
• Maintain accurate records, complete necessary documentation, and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate seamlessly with teachers, specialists, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support for integrating AAC technology in the classroom and at home.
