Professional Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Holds SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Valid SLP state license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to high school students
- Evaluate and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to speech and language needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress
- Conduct assessments and document therapeutic progress accurately
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development as needed
- Maintain records in accordance with school and district protocols
This contract role offers consistent hours, Monday through Friday, allowing you to plan your time effectively throughout the school year. Working onsite, you’ll have the resources and collegial support needed to help students grow academically and personally.
