Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current and valid SLP-CCC certification
  • Active state licensure for North Carolina or eligibility for licensure
  • Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to students’ individual needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and educational goals
  • Maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation and contribute actively to team meetings and IEP development
  • Offer support and resources to classroom staff to implement effective communication strategies
  • Participate in professional development to remain up-to-date with best practices in the field
