Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current and valid SLP-CCC certification
- Active state licensure for North Carolina or eligibility for licensure
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and progress monitoring
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to students’ individual needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and educational goals
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive documentation and contribute actively to team meetings and IEP development
- Offer support and resources to classroom staff to implement effective communication strategies
