Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Current or eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
  • Experience with pediatric or school-aged clients is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain therapeutic concepts clearly
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Commitment to high standards of ethical, evidence-based practice

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for students presenting with speech and language challenges
  • Develop and implement custom treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
  • Provide engaging, targeted individual and group therapy sessions
  • Closely monitor student progress and maintain detailed, timely documentation
  • Work closely with a supportive multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care plans
  • Offer guidance and resources to families, encouraging their involvement in therapy and strategies for communication growth
