Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for North Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working with elementary school students preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for elementary students
- Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
- Deliver direct intervention and therapy services within the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation, reporting progress as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a multidisciplinary team approach
- Offer consultation and professional guidance to educational staff
