Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Valid SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA credentials, or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Prior experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms for remote service delivery is appreciated
- Strong communication abilities and the capacity to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Commitment to delivering therapy in both in-person and virtual learning environments
- Well-organized and reliable, able to manage caseload efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect therapy to students in elementary and/or middle school settings
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs (SLPs)
- Implement therapy activities and support plans developed by supervising SLP (SLPAs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Contribute to IEP meetings and documentation as needed
- Utilize clinical expertise to monitor progress, adjust interventions, and advocate for student communication needs
