Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in a school setting, particularly with Pre-K through 8th grade students
- Strong collaborative skills for consulting with teachers, families, and support professionals
- Proficiency in developing and implementing IEPs and related documentation
- Knowledge of a wide range of communication disorders and intervention strategies
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify speech and language difficulties
- Develop individualized therapy plans targeting each student’s unique needs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services as outlined in student IEPs
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and support teachers and families in strategies to reinforce student progress
