Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders
  • Designing and implementing customized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Delivering engaging therapy sessions focused on speech and language development goals
  • Diligently monitoring and documenting student progress to inform interventions and reporting
  • Working collaboratively with educators, counselors, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student care
  • Actively involving and educating families, fostering an inclusive and supportive therapy process

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Active or eligible state licensure as required by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but consideration also given to Clinical Fellows (CFY)
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
  • Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a school environment
