Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting thorough evaluations for students presenting with speech and language disorders
- Designing and implementing customized treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
- Delivering engaging therapy sessions focused on speech and language development goals
- Diligently monitoring and documenting student progress to inform interventions and reporting
- Working collaboratively with educators, counselors, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to student care
- Actively involving and educating families, fostering an inclusive and supportive therapy process
Qualifications and requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible state licensure as required by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but consideration also given to Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations is highly desirable
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a school environment
