Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility in the state
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in grades K-12
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) targeting each student's needs
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions as outlined in IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to champion student progress
  • Maintain accurate records, document progress, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer training and support to staff regarding communication strategies
  • Stay current with best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
