Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathologist license, or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and/or 9-12 preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and parents
- Proficiency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Flexibility to adapt to various age groups and individualized education plans
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to promote students’ progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate on IEPs
- Consult with teachers and families regarding strategies to foster language development
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
