Make a meaningful impact by providing essential support to students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a contract role. This opportunity centers on case management and evaluation across two campuses, working closely with two full-time SLPAs who handle most direct student services. Your expertise will focus on supervising, evaluating, and overseeing IEP documentation and compliance, rather than direct service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support two SLPAs delivering direct speech and language interventions.
- Lead case management activities, including managing comprehensive caseload documentation.
- Conduct student evaluations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee and facilitate IEP meetings and the development of student-centered plans.
- Monitor student progress and collaborate with staff and families.
- Provide guidance to ensure compliance with all special education regulations.
What We’re Seeking:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required.
- Experience in school settings highly valued; open to both experienced SLPs and those completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing a higher caseload (approximately 120 students, various ages).
- Comfort with case management, indirect services, and supervising assistants.
- Collaborative, communicative approach to working within multi-disciplinary teams.
Contract Details:
- Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Position runs from 11/2/26 to 5/21/27.
- Weekly pay applies equally to direct and indirect services.
- Robust benefits including health and life insurance options, and a 401(k) plan with matching policy.
