Key Qualifications:

  • Active Georgia SLP License or GaPSC certification required; one is needed to begin, both will eventually be necessary
  • Open to SLP-CCC, CF, and SLAs (certified through GaPSC); this position does not accept SLPAs
  • Experience working with school-age children or within school settings is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to professional growth and evidence-based practice

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluation, therapy, and intervention according to each student’s individualized education plan (IEP)
  • Work onsite full-time, fostering communication skills in preschool through high school populations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
  • Adapt therapy strategies for a diverse student population, including those with unique challenges
  • Attend relevant professional development sessions and stay current with best practices
