This full-time, year-round contract opportunity focuses on providing exceptional speech-language services within a supportive, collaborative environment. Both experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC or CF) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants are invited to apply, with supervision available for SLPAs as needed. The clinic serves families across multiple communities and embraces a diverse caseload, with opportunities to utilize or develop your bilingual or American Sign Language skills.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or completion of an accredited SLPA program
- Active state licensure relevant to clinical setting
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates encouraged
- Experience in pediatric and school-based settings valued
- Experience or willingness to provide supervision for SLPA candidates
- Bilingual fluency and/or American Sign Language proficiency highly desirable
- Commitment to culturally sensitive, family-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and write comprehensive reports
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with a variety of communication and swallowing disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide support and training for SLPAs in accordance with clinical supervision guidelines
- Document services and monitor progress toward IEP or therapy goals
- Travel between nearby locations as needed to meet the needs of diverse communities
- Engage in ongoing professional development and support a positive, inclusive clinic culture
