Speech Language Pathologist in Lithonia, GA

Step into a rewarding contract role providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a vibrant clinic environment supporting children and young adults from birth through age 21. This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA (with supervising SLP), passionate about fostering communication growth and bringing your clinical skills to a diverse caseload. The position operates year-round and is based near Lithonia, GA, with services provided in Loganville, Lawrenceville, and Peachtree Corners.

Key Qualifications:

• Active SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA licensure (SLPA must have SLP supervisor)
• Experience in pediatric and/or school-based speech and language therapy
• Comfortable working with a range of communication challenges, including nonverbal students
• Willingness to serve a diverse population from infants to young adults
• Bilingual skills and/or proficiency in American Sign Language highly valued
• Strong organizational and documentation abilities
• Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy services in a supportive clinical setting
• Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans tailored to individual students' needs
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including teachers, aides, and families
• Support nonverbal students, including potential use of augmentative/alternative communication
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with clinic policies
• If SLPA, meet supervision requirements and work closely with SLP supervisor
