Step into a rewarding school-based opportunity supporting K-12 students by providing expert speech-language services. Three contracted SLP openings are available to cover maternity leaves, each with the flexibility to extend your assignment through the remainder of the academic year. Located near vibrant Hershey, PA, this position allows you to make a significant impact in a collaborative, student-focused environment.

Contract durations:

  • Position 1: Available now through mid-October
  • Position 2: Mid-October through January
  • Position 3: Mid-December through March

After the initial assignment, enjoy the chance to extend your contract and contribute to early intervention caseloads through the end of the school year. Full-time hours (35 per week) ensure consistency for both the students and your professional development.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Pennsylvania (or eligibility for fast-track licensing)
  • Prior experience working in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy for students on your assigned caseload
  • Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records and submit timely progress reports
  • Adjust service delivery based on student needs throughout the school year
