Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current licensure or eligibility to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) considered
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results and educational goals
- Work directly with students in individual and group sessions to improve targeted communication skills
- Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress, interventions, and outcomes
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Educate teachers and family members about strategies to support student success
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and participate in relevant professional development
