Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license in Colorado
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs may be considered
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, including individualized education planning (IEP)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with teachers, parents, and support staff
  • Familiarity with evidence-based assessment and therapy techniques

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and small group settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Consult with teachers and staff to adapt classroom activities and support student’s communication needs
  • Offer guidance and resources to families to support students’ growth beyond the school setting
