Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible Colorado state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly valued
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and communication development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop individualized education plan (IEP) goals and provide therapeutic interventions
  • Track and document student progress, closely monitoring for achievement of targeted skills
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to enhance student outcomes
  • Provide education and support to staff on communication disorders and effective classroom strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal special education regulations
