Your background in speech-language pathology will be invaluable as you navigate a caseload anticipated to range from mild to moderate needs. You'll engage with students across various age groups and help empower them to achieve meaningful communication milestones.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Active Colorado Department of Education certification.
- Valid Colorado SLP License (Speech-Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist for ages birth–21).
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric caseloads preferred.
- Must complete a background check as required by the district’s credentialing process.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to optimize student outcomes.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development.
