Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a highly qualified SLP-CCC near Littleton, CO. This position provides critical coverage during a staff medical leave, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact through the winter break. You'll manage an elementary-aged caseload, with a mix of PreK students, all in one supportive school setting.
Your expertise will be valued as you serve a group of around 40 students identified with mild to moderate needs. Beyond day-to-day direct support, you’ll also play a key role in collaborating with school teams to ensure seamless compensatory services once the regular SLP returns. This is a vital role for someone ready to step in with professionalism, compassion, and clinical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Current state licensure in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
- Proven experience with elementary and PreK populations in a school-based setting
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a caseload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Must NOT be a Clinical Fellow (CF) or SLPA; district requirement for fully certified SLPs
- No 1099 contractors—direct hire only
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to a mild-moderate caseload
- Complete documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and legal standards
- Coordinate with staff and families to support student outcomes
- Participate in compensatory service planning and delivery
- Maintain compliance with all school, state, and federal guidelines
