School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Littleton, Colorado

This position provides critical coverage during a staff medical leave, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact through the winter break. You'll manage an elementary-aged caseload, with a mix of PreK students, all in one supportive school setting.

Your expertise will be valued as you serve a group of around 40 students identified with mild to moderate needs. Beyond day-to-day direct support, you’ll also play a key role in collaborating with school teams to ensure seamless compensatory services once the regular SLP returns. This is a vital role for someone ready to step in with professionalism, compassion, and clinical expertise.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Current state licensure in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain)
• Proven experience with elementary and PreK populations in a school-based setting
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage a caseload
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Must NOT be a Clinical Fellow (CF) or SLPA; district requirement for fully certified SLPs
• No 1099 contractors—direct hire only

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group speech-language therapy to a mild-moderate caseload
• Complete documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and legal standards
• Coordinate with staff and families to support student outcomes
• Participate in compensatory service planning and delivery
• Maintain compliance with all school, state, and federal guidelines
