Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Current SLP certification and active state licensure
- Previous school-based experience working with K-12 populations preferred
- Understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and goal writing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience providing both direct and consultative services in diverse school environments
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for varied developmental and academic needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver therapy sessions for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency concerns
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other specialists to integrate therapy into the school day
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate and timely records of services, progress, and evaluations
- Engage with parents and guardians to support at-home skill development
