What You’ll Need:
- Valid and current CDE certification required
- SLP license in Colorado
- Experience with elementary and high school caseloads preferred
- Comfortable supporting students with a range of mild to severe needs
- Certification as an SLP (ASHA CCCs strongly preferred)
- Willingness to work onsite; strong consideration for candidates able to provide services in person
- Flexible and open to serving multiple student populations
- Prior school-based experience a plus
- Ability to travel as needed
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting evaluations, screenings, and diagnostics to determine student needs
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans for students with communication disorders
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintaining thorough records, including progress notes and documentation for IEP meetings
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing expertise
- Advocating for student needs in both elementary and high school settings
