Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Eligibility for a G License through the NC Department of Public Instruction required
• Valid licensure from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be considered
• Background working with school-aged children is highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive planning and oversight for speech and language services within the school
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnoses of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans
• Offer evidence-based recommendations and interventions, adapting as students’ needs evolve
• Monitor progress and document outcomes, maintaining compliance with educational guidelines
