Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Eligibility or current possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is strongly preferred
  • Must hold a G License from the NC Department of Public Instruction
  • Licensure from the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists may be accepted
  • Experience working within school settings or with school-aged children is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language assessments such as screening, testing, and diagnosing to support student IEPs
  • Provide planning and oversight for individual and group services in compliance with school goals and student needs
  • Advise educators and families to maximize students’ academic and social outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster an inclusive, positive learning environment for all students

This position is full time, 37.5 hours per week, providing the stability to build meaningful relationships and make a genuine impact throughout the school year.
