School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Live Oak, California

This contract opportunity spans 160-170 days and focuses on one supportive site where you’ll build lasting relationships and provide continuity of care for a caseload of approximately 40-45 students in grades TK-5. Compensation for this role is $60-$70 per hour, reflecting your expertise and dedication.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• California SLP license (or eligibility) required
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong CF candidates considered
• Experience working with school-aged children, especially in elementary settings
• Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and parent communication
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to various student needs and collaborate across disciplines

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students (TK-5)
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
• Offer consultation and support to classroom teachers as needed
