Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Previous experience working in a school setting, particularly with elementary students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of assessment and intervention techniques for speech and language disorders
Responsibilities:
- Assess and provide therapeutic services to students requiring speech and language support
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff
- Participate in meetings to discuss student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student performance and progress
- Engage with students and parents to foster a supportive learning environment
- Stay updated on best practices and trends in speech-language pathology
