Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This role is designed for professionals passionate about supporting students’ communication development in an educational setting. With a schedule running from August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027, and standard school hours of 7:30AM to 4PM, Monday through Friday, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact during the academic year.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Valid California licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Open to both Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLPs holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Knowledge of school-based speech therapy practices and procedures
  • Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 50-60 students
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and related disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services
  • Maintain clear documentation of student progress and session notes
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexible in working across multiple school sites as assigned (locations to be determined)
  • Provide proactive support and strategies to help students reach their communication goals
