Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible for New York State SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome—supervision available
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Dedication to collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students K-12, individually and in small groups
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress
- Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support student success and implement strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Participate in regular team and IEP meetings, contributing expertise to support student outcomes
